The dark side of movies is the new distribution label realised by the collaboration between Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest and Italian streaming platform CINEMAF. The label mission consists in making available in Italy the best films of Ravenna Nightmare's past editions, to be watched in VOD, easily accessible from any user.
The Dark Side of Movies will distribute the best international films dedicated to the dark side of cinema, with the goal of becoming a point of reference in Italy for all movie-goers passionate about Crime, Sci-Fi, Noir, Thriller and Horror, going at the same time beyond film genres, shaking the viewers in their hearts and challenging their perception of reality.
Films that are still unknown to Italian distribution will be proposed, promoting the recognition and circulation of quality works, that would otherwise risk not to receive the deserved attention. By becoming distributor, Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest achieves one of its biggest dreams: promoting cinema 360-degree and offering directors and filmmakers worldwide the unique possibility of securing visibility to their films on our territory.
For 17 years now, Ravenna Nightmare has been representing the unmissable appointment with the dark side of cinema. During its editions, the festival has progressively distanced itself from a specific film genre connotation, broadening its horizons and becoming the cinematographic icon of the "dark side" often characterising best artistic expressions, that in cinema tends to merge into auteur productions.
Directly from Contemporanea section and International Feature Film Competition, The dark side of movies will propose art-house films, yet unseen in our country, for the first time easily purchasable online on CINEMAF, for just 4.99€. Films will be rentable for a year and can be watched until 48 hours after the purchase.
Keep following us, the journey in the "dark side" is about to begin!
The best films presented at Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest.
For you, to be watched when and where you want, only on CINEMAF.
Special thanks go to Nicola Varesco for the realisation of the label official image!
