Goldblooded is a dark psychological thriller, that centers on a desperate man who discovers that his blood contains traces of pure gold and he must stay one step ahead of those who would kill him to harvest it. Homeless and left without options, Lapis begins to harvest his own blood by slicing his wrist. When he goes too deep, he wakes up in an ambulance. Noticing is blood crusted with gold flakes smeared everywhere, he launches into attack mode. He fights with the EMTs and the Cop rescuing him, until he kicks one of them through the back door and escapes through the night.

Tom Botchii appreciates the darker, psychological aspect of filmmaking. His stories usually center around violently, personal experiences injected into the heart of the film. That he hopes to use to add an element of reality to skew the audience's perspective. Raised as part of the only immigrant family in a small town, his very different upbringing lead to escapism through creativity. He hopes to get people to think creatively, and without judgment.
