In 2014, two girls, aged 13 and 14, tortured and killed a vulnerable woman in her own home. We don’t know what exactly transpired that night. However, the girls posted pictures and videos on social media throughout the night.
Ivo Neefjes was born and raised in the Netherlands. Throughout his life, he has tried to combine his passion for cinema with his passion for science. Currently, he works as a researcher in atmospheric physics at the University of Helsinki, Finland. In his free time, he writes screenplays both for himself to direct and for other directors. His most recent film, Het Spektakel, premiered at the International Short Film Festival Leuven and won the first prize for best experimental film at the Rhode Island International Film Festival. In the future, Ivo hopes to keep making new films, alongside his scientific research.
