After the success of the last edition, this year the Showcase Emilia-Romagna section will propose works produced in our area that have distinguished themselves for artistic quality, in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission.
The first appointment will be held on the morning of Saturday 2 November. At 10:30 at the Palazzo dei Congressi we will project The Last Night by Francesco Barozzi. The film tells the story of Bea, a woman in crisis forced to leave the city and return to the country house where she grew up, where her two brothers live in extreme conditions. When he invites them to change their lifestyle, he discovers that they share the same ambiguous inclinations and more than a secret.
Sunday 3 November continues, again at 10:30 am, with the screening of the film Rwanda by Riccardo Salvetti. April 1994: the Central African Republic is devastated by one of the most dramatic genocides in human history. 25 years later an actor and an actress bring to the stage a true story based on the Rwandan genocide on stage; he plays Augustin, a young Hutu worker, and she is Cecile, a Tutsi elementary school teacher. Fate will bring Augustin and Cecile to meet.
Both appointments of Showcase Emilia-Romagna will be preceded by a welcome coffee at 10 am and have a free entrance.
