It’s Halloween. Camilla is waiting outside of school. She is looking for her dad, but her mom Paola is waiting for her. She brings her daughter into a bakery and tells her to get whatever she wants: it is a special day. Once she’s home, Paola dresses her daughter as a zombie: she is waiting for her anticipated Trick or Treat moment. A hood with two holes for the eyes covers her face, Camilla sees the village animate itself for the celebration of the dead, she walks hand in hand with her mother but…
Director, screenwriter and producer from Bologna. His debut film, “Il vento fa il suo giro” (2005), is presented in over 60 national and international film festival, winning around forty awards. His second film, “L’uomo che verrà” (2009), is elected Best film, Best Producer and Best sound at the David di Donatello 2010 and Best Producer, Best Scenography and Best Sound at the Nastri d'Argento 2010. Alongside his audiovisual activity, he is active in the theatrical field (Novelle fatte al piano; Gli occhi gli alberi le foglie) and he shoots and produces documentaries such as Genus Bononiae (2012) ̀. In 2013 he coproduces and directs the film “Un giorno devi andare” shot in the Amazon and with protagonist Jasmine Trinca that is presented in competition at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2014 he publishes his first novel “Noi due” (Rizzoli), followed by “L’Uomo fa il suo giro” (2015 - Laterza).
