In the Contemporanea selection we have the pleasure and the honor to present “La Scuola Cattolica” by Stefano Mordini, out of Competition at Venice Film Festival.
Adapted from the homonymous novel written by Edoardo Albinati, winner of the Strega award, “La scuola cattolica'' wants to bring back the attention towards one of the cruelest pages of Italian history: the Circeo massacre. Because of the theme, the film was banned for people under the age of eighteen when it came out in theaters, but for tis importance and artistic value, Ravenna Nightmare is proud to present it in the Contemporanea section, in the presence of his director Stefano Mordini.
