A little girl plays in her room while her mum is having a party. She wishes she’d be alone with her favorite doll. But when her wish comes true and she meets her doll in human size it turns out to be anything but fun.
BIOGRAPHY:
Henny Åman (b. 1993) is a screenwriter, director and actress based in Stockholm. With an early career in independent theatre, her educational background combines university studies in the arts and humanities with professional training in both filmmaking and journalism. Her keen interests in text, visuality and narrative have been decisive for her current focus on screenwriting and directing, that also allows her to draw on her past experiences in stage work and various assignments in the film industry (including set design, co-directing and acting). She’s currently working on a project that explores notions of magical realism targeted at a young audience.
