Pepe García Gilling was born in Tampico, east coast of Mexico. He’s written and directed two short films: “Idea #1111” and “The Fairest of Them All” selected in Mórbido Film Fest 2015. He’s worked at the Monterrey IFF since 2011 and is doing his MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He loves pizza, football (soccer), and his two sisters.
