Best Feature Film: CORD by Pablo Gonzalez (Germany-Colombia)
For its new, raw and reflective vision of the future, told with few resources but with excellent actors and an intense cinema style.

Best Director: DEEP DARK by Michael Medaglia (USA)
A film which tells with dazzling light the sufferings of art and love, and the insidious corruption of power.

Weird Vision Award: FRANCESCA by Luciano Onetti (Argentina)
For its extravagant  and visionary act of love towards the Italian Horror films of the '70s.

 Audience Award: GODDESS OF LOVE by Jon Knautz (USA)

Best Short Film: ADAM AND EVE RAISED CAIN by Francesco Erba (Italy)
An original, well-built story, made with a careful and visionary technique.

Evento Speciale di questa 13a edizione è Nightmare Series - In The Flesh

Scritta da Dominic Mitchell, prodotta dalla BBC (2013/2014) e tuttora inedita in Italia, vincitrice di un premio BAFTA, la serie cult inglese rivisita con notevole pathos e in maniera decisamente originale il genere del film zombie post apocalisse, secondo un punto di vista radicalmente diverso, partendo da dove di solito i film sugli zombies finiscono.

A partire da domani, venerdì 30 ottobre 2015, in contemporanea con la presentazione dei primi capitoli della serie, dalle ore 21.00 al Palazzo del Cinema e dei Congressi, saranno ospiti fissi del Festival l'autore della serie Dominic Mitchell e l'attore Kevin Sutton.

CATALOGO RAVENNA NIGHTMARE FILM FESTIVAL XIII

La Giuria del Ravenna NIghtmare Film Festival è pronta ad affilare i coltelli per decretare il vincitore della XIII edizione. Il giornalista e fondatore di "GialloLuna NeroNotte" Nevio Galeati, lo scrittore, docente  e critico Massimo Perissinotto e l'indipendente regista e fumettista Sandro Sunda. Otto i lungometraggi in gara per i premi Nightmare - premio Miglior Regia, Premio Speciale della Giuria e l'ambito Anello d'Oro Miglior Film, disegnato dal maestro orafo ravennate Marco Gerbella. Il pubblico voterà per assegnare il Premio del Pubblico.

Sarà presente in sala la regista Deborah Farina che quest'anno inaugura il nuovo spazio Nightmare Doc, tutto dedicato al genere documentario. "Down by Di Leo – Viaggio d'amore alla scoperta di Fernando Di Leo", ci regala due ore di excursus nel mondo del regista pugliese Fernando Di Leo, tra noir, crime, mafia-movie, poliziesco all'italiana, commedia erotica  generazionale, in pellicole ormai “stracult” quali Milano Calibro 9, La Mala Ordina, Avere Vent'Anni.

Moreover, we’re looking for some “zombies” that want to partecipate at Nightmare Zombie, a street performance that will be happened on sunday 25th October, from 04:00 pm in Ravenna's center like a preview of our Festival.

IN THE FLESH 
The "others" live among us


The special event of the XIII edition of Ravenna Nightmare Film Festival will be the British BBC TV series 
"In The Flesh" (2013 - 2014), 
written by Dominic Mitchell and still unreleased in Italy, 
Protagonists are zombies who are now "cured" from their desease. 
The series, still unreleased in Italy, will be screened at the Nightmare, which will be the first genre festival,
given the success in the UK. 

The subscriptions for the therteenth edition of Ravenna Nightmare Film Festival have ended from a few day and we're so happy that a lots of people have send their partecipation to our Festival!

There are a lots of news into this edition: the english tv series "In the Flesh", unpublished in Italy; the special tribute to Alfred Hitchcock, symbolic godfather of our Festival, and other special events that will be soon revealed! 

RAVENNA NIGHTMARE FILM FEST
Italian capital of horror cinema  13th edition 28^th October - 1^st November 2015 

SELECTION FOR FEATURE COMPETITION AND SHORT COMPETITION.
We evaluate features, animations, documentaries, etc. belonging to horror, sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, fantastic genre in its broadest sense, related to the “nightmare” topic.

Deadline for submission is 23^rd September 2015.
