Synopsis

The Wizard of Oz - a film directed by Victor Fleming in 1939 and based on the well-known fantasy novel by L. Frank Baum - is one of David Lynch's most enduring obsessions. With his documentary, the director takes us over the rainbow to explore this unexpected bridge towards Lynch's disturbing and fairy-tale universe.
A journey into the American imagination, between recurring dreams and fears, and a creative and very entertaining investigation.

Selected for the Spotlight section of the Tribeca Festival, it had its world premiere on June 9, 2022.
