From small compromises to the most serious acts of cowardice, the brown animals gradually invade homes and take control. An authoritarian regime with absurd laws is established. To avoid trouble, Charly abides by the rules of this colorless world and discovers the horror of fascism at his own expense.

Carlo Vogele is a director and screenwriter, as well as a character animator. Born in Luxembourg, he studied film and theatre arts before focusing on animation. After graduating from Gobelins School, he worked 7 years for Pixar in California, animating Toys, Cars, Monsters and Scottish Lords. In his short films, he brought socks, fish and sausages to life in stop-motion (For Sock's Sake, FurtivaLagrima, Wurst). Back in Europe, Carlo wrote and directed his first feature film Icarus, released in 2022, then the short film Brown Morning, finished in 2025, which he adapted from the novel by Franck Pavloff.
