It's night. In a lurid and disturbing station where all the trains are stopped, Magloire smokes a cigarette. He runs away from the police, without luggage, without a future, on the beach of a hellish sea. Here a dying man gives him a large sum. A criminal gang that obeys the orders of the feared 9 fingers hunts him, makes him a prisoner, leaves him no choice: to be their accomplice or die. With them he embarks on a sinister and rusty ship from the mysterious destination, loaded with radioactive material. As in a ghost vessel (or on the ship of fools) someone falls seriously ill, among the passengers paranoia snakes. A journey to hell where Magloire has nothing to lose. No certain destination, no clear answer, not even from the beautiful nautical map obsessively consulted by the band leader Kurtz.
Filmmaker, poet, writer and musician born in Auvergne sixty-one years ago. Post-surrealist, post-dada, post-existentialist, post-punk, Frédéric-Jacques Ossang has in less than thirty-five years signed less than a dozen short and long cinematographic works, marked as much by the historical avant-gardes as by the re-enactment of genres of classic cinema.
