The North is every lonely place. Everything here is North. I present, here, the people I have met in all these Norths. But my memory is fragmentary and I begin to wonder if my efforts are in vain. Where does the suffering come from? The film does not offer precise explanations, but rather shows people whose lives have been stuck for some reason.
Yamamura Koji was born in 1964. When he was only 13 years old, he produced his first animated film and, from 1983 to 1987, devoted himself to the study of painting at Zokei University in Tokyo.
