The Festival awards the prize GOLDEN RING SPECIAL EDITION to those Directors who greatly explored and reinterpreted throughout their film careers The Dark Side of movies. 

The Festival awards the prize MEDAL OF HONOUR to those Directors who contributed researching and narratively experimenting by venturing in new and original paths.

An exceptional critical jury will assign the CRITICS' AWARD to the Best Feature Film Direction among the works presented in the International Competition.

The audience jury assigns the GOLDEN RING award for Best Feature Film to the film that receives the highest vote.

AUTEUR PREMIERES IN ORIGINAL LANGUAGE

With a series of film previews, Festival Premiere promotes auteur cinema in original language.

Glances on the Italian and international cinema of the present. One of the most important sections of Ravenna Nightmare precisely for its extreme relevance and for its attention to the current scene.

In collaboration with A.S.C.I.G. (Association for Cultural Exchanges between Italy and Japan) Ottobre Giapponese is the section dedicated to one of the cinematography that contributed most to the enhancement of genre cinema, through the screening of retrospective and contemporary films.

Celebrations are an occasion to remember the great names of the past and bring them to the general public before being forgotten, even if they are unforgettable.
