Ravenna Nightmare's 17th edition will be anticipated by a series of unmissable Nightmare Premieres. First one is on October 5th, on the occasion of the Golden Night, with the exclusive projection of the animated horror To your last death, presented as national preview. Jason Axinn's film will be screened at 9pm at Palazzo dei Congressi in Ravenna, in original language with Italian subtitles.
Besides this great screening, some details on Visioni Fantastiche will be anticipated - the film festival addressed to schools of Ravenna Municipality, whose program will be tighlty linked to Ravenna Nightmare's.
After surviving a massacre, Miriam receives a visit from a supernatural entity that allows her to go back in time to save her family. Miriam accepts, but ignores what she will have to face to save her brothers and to save herself. In spite of herself, she will indeed be involved in an absurd game of death and will soon discover that those who have tried to kill her are closer than she can imagine.
The style of animation comes from a unique combination of modern hand-drawn comic art and 2D digital animation techniques: the result is a unique, attractive and impactful style. To give the characters a voice then there is a compelling cast, composed by a number of stars, including: Morena Baccarin, known for her roles in Gotham, Homeland and the Deadpool saga; William Shatner, the legendary Captain Kirk of the Star Trek saga; Ray Wise, famous for his parts in Twin Peaks, Robocop and How i met your mother and finally Bill Moseley, one of Sam Raimi's and Rob Zombie's favorite actors.
