Journalist since 1979, he has worked for newspapers L'Unità and Il Resto del Carlino. He has published the short story collections Il contrabbandiere duro come un sasso (Ed. Cooperativa Libraria e d'Informazione, 1996); Tre (I Fiori Blu, 2000), Otto alla rovescia (Allori Edizioni, 2001), Fragili omicidi per un commissario (Clown Bianco Editore 2019); the novels Telefonate e birra, d'autunno (I Fiori Blu, 1999); Improvvisazioni per chitarra e batteria (Foschi Editore, 2005); and, with Carlo Raggi, the investigation Delitti (im)perfetti (PaGiNe Edizioni, 2015). He collaborates with Il Giallo Mondadori. He has taught writing courses in high schools and for the Ministry of Grace and Justice. He is president of the Pa.Gi.Ne. Cultural Association, which has organized the GialloLuna NeroNotte literary festival in Ravenna since 2003.
