Born in Milan, after completing classical studies, he founded the monthly film magazine Nocturno in 1994. He is currently deputy editor of the magazine and CEO of Cinema Bis Communication. He has edited about 120 dossiers related to Nocturno, with particular reference to the history of Italian genre cinema. He has worked as an organizer, jury member or speaker at film festivals and film festivals, including Police Film Festival, Gente di Rispetto Film Festival, International Art Film Festival, PesarHorrorFest, Science Plus Fiction.
