In an isolated religious community ruled by men, Magpie, the pastor's daughter, kills her abusive husband. In doing so, she unleashes an evil force: a Beast with glittering white eyes and a taste for corrupt men. Suspicion and paranoia pervade the community, and accusations pour in on Magpie. The pastor fails to bring her back into the "Truth" as the Beast's charms capture her. When the Beast leaves behind a trail of brutal carnage, a ruthless witch hunt begins, plunging the community into darkness.
