A seminar dedicated to the brilliant David Lynch and to the interpretation of one of the most recurrent themes in his movies: the uncanny. Analyzing movies such as Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire, not forgetting the Twin Peaks universe, this fascinating path aims to make suggestions on the concept developed by Sigmund Freud and on how Lynch developed it in his work.
The seminar is held by Andrea Chimento, professor of Istitutions of Cinema History at the Christian University of Milan, cinematography critic of IlSole24Ore.com and chief editor of the LongTake.it, media partner of Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest.
