Submissions to XVII edition are closed! In its International Competitions for Feature and Short Films, Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest rewards the best recent film production exploring the "dark side" of cinema. Through online platforms FilmFreeway, Festhome, FilmFestivalLife, ClickForFestivals and Shortfilmdepot, hundreds of filmmakers from more than 50 countries answered to our call for entries by sending their films. This year we received 887 works, confirming a trend that originated over the last editions, made of growing artistic quality and a wider heterogeneity of film genres.
Selected works will be exclusively presented to the audience during Ravenna Nightmare's XVII edition, that is going to take place from October 30th to November 3rd 2019 at Palazzo dei Congressi in Ravenna, while being anticipated by a series of premieres scheduled on October 5, 12 and 19.
