Princesses: the evolution of the gender stereotype
Lecturer: Valentina Scentoni
The goal is to acquaint children with the changes in stereotypes of femininity over the years, in a fun and upbeat way, and with respect for girls, girls and women. Gender and intra-family violence have long been the focus of many social realities as well as national and international legislation, but still today the various reflections clash with deeply sexist cultural assumptions. Disney films provide an opportunity to tell these changes in the form of play, addressing important issues creatively and without downplaying their relevance.
