📌🥇 2023 MEDAL FOR VALOR AWARD - ALEX INFASCELLI

And this is also why we are pleased to announce that the RNFF 2023 Medal of Valor will be awarded to a militant director, who also includes among his experiences a past as a musician, reaching the general public with his first feature film from 2000, the thriller postmodern Almost blue, based on the novel of the same name by Carlo Lucarelli, with which Alex won the David di Donatello, the Ciak d'oro and the Nastro d'argento as best debut director. Followed by Il serum della vanità (2003) and H2Odio (2006), Petty marital crimes (2017) and the acclaimed documentaries S Is for Stanley (2015) and My name is Francesco Totti (2020), both awarded the David di Donatello.
He directed the series Killer Women and In the Name of Evil. His novel "Now, here, nowhere" was released in 2022.
Attentive observer of reality and visionary director, Alex Infascelli who will be with us to receive the Medaglia al Valore (created by the mosaicist Dusciana Bravura) and to tell us about his artistic universe during the evening hosted by our artistic co-director and film critic Mariangela Sansone. For the occasion, the documentary Kill Me If You Can will be screened, which tells the incredible story of Raffaele Minichiello, the first in history to have hijacked a transatlantic flight.
