Get ready for an intense festival day, dedicated to the discovery of films and shorts that will explore narrative and aesthetic boundaries, inviting the viewer to stimulating reflections.
🎬 It starts at 4 p.m. with the screening of Goodbye CP (Japan, 1972, 82'), a powerful documentary by Hara Kazuo about the challenges faced by a group of people with cerebral palsy, in a social context that often proves discriminatory.
📚 At 6 p.m. the first of three literary encounters will take place, in which Davide Reviati, Riccardo Crosa and Gianni Sedioli will discuss the current state of comics, with a particular focus on Donald Duck as part of the conversation.
🎬 At 6:30, it will then be the turn of the third feature film in competition: PHI 1.618 by Theodore Ushev (Bulgaria, 2022, 94'). Here we will follow the Bio-Titans, a biologically perfect species preparing to leave Earth, interweaving adventures between love and conflict, humanity and unscrupulousness.
🎬 Closing the third day of the festival, starting at 9 p.m. will be the International Short Film Competition. Don't miss the opportunity to attend the screening of 8 short films from all over the world; a journey through themes of life and death, laughter and tears, challenges to stereotypes and conventions. The audience present will decide the winner of the coveted Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest silver ring.
