Claudia, a 25-year-old woman marked by deep insecurities, rents the upper floor of an isolated house. There she meets Letizia, the owner, a charming woman with a dark past who introduces her to metaphony, a technique for communicating with the dead. What initially seems like an innocent game quickly turns into a nightmare: after discovering the terrible secrets hidden in that house, Claudia will have to fight to survive Letizia's madness, who intends to sacrifice her to supernatural entities.
Born in Cesenatico in 1981, he graduated from DAMS in Bologna with a thesis on director Peter Greenaway and subsequently participated in seminars and in-depth courses with Tonino Guerra, Alexander Sokurov, and Greenaway himself. In 2008, he specialized in CGI and 3D animation at Big Rock in Treviso, then attended an intensive course in editing and post-production at the Manhattan Edit Workshop in New York, where he lived for about two years working as a director and editor of music videos and commercials. In 2013, he founded his own production company in Rimini, with which he made his first feature film, In a Lonely Place. Subsequently, in 2018, he directed the documentary In Defense of Sacred Images on the Rimini school of painting of the 1300s. In 2025, his second film, Al progredire della notte (As the Night Progresses), was released in theaters. He has collaborated with the University of Urbino as a lecturer in “Cinema and Multimedia Languages” and with the Holden School in Turin as a lecturer in Film Directing. Together with Elisa Giardini, he runs the production company Meclimone Produzioni Cinematografiche.
