Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest take place at 39 Via di Roma in Ravenna, between the beauty of the Mosaics of the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo (1), a portrait of 6th-century Ravenna, with the port of Classe and the ancient palace of Theodoric, and The MAR - Ravenna City Art Museum (3) with works by world-famous artists, educational workshops and a collection of ancient and modern art;
There is the Rasi Theatre in Ravenna (2) whose origins date back to the monastic church of Santa Chiara built in 1250 and converted into a chivalry house during the Napoleonic period. The building was converted into a theatre in 1874, inaugurated in 1892 and named in 1919 after Luigi Rasi, a late 19th-century Ravenna actor, playwright and theatre historian. Of Santa Chiara remain the façade, today the entrance to the theatre, and the apse, set into the stage area. The 14th-century Rimini frescoes that occupied the vaults of the apse are on display at the city's Archaeological Museum.

By car: (approx. 40 minutes) Take the A14 motorway towards Ancona – exit at Ravenna, then follow signs to the city center.
By public transport:The most direct way to reach Ravenna train station from Bologna Airport is via the Shuttle Italy Airport service. It operates daily and departs from the bus stop located outside the terminal on the ground floor.
Departure times from the airport: 04:30 - 09:30 - 14:30 - 18:30
The shuttle is easily recognizable by the “Shuttle Italy Airport” logo and makes no intermediate stops, arriving directly at Ravenna Central Station. Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Estimated cost: €27–30 per person. Advance online booking is recommended to secure a seat.
Alternative route: Take the Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale Station (7-minute ride), then a regional train to Ravenna (average duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a change in Faenza or direct depending on schedule).
From Ravenna FS Station to Teatro Rasi:
Once you arrive at Ravenna’s train station, you can easily walk to Teatro Rasi—it’s less than a 10-minute walk. Along the way, you’ll pass beautiful landmarks such as the Basilica of San Giovanni Evangelista and the stunning Sant’Apollinare Nuovo.
Local transport: Bus line 4 is available for convenient travel within the city center.
