National Feature Film Competition of the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, created to enhance the Italian production of genre cinema, which still struggles to get the recognition it deserves. After more than two decades of the International Competition, it was felt that the time was ripe to add a competitive section dedicated exclusively to Italian works that best represent the vitality of the genre in our landscape.
