SILVER MÉLIÈS AWARD – EUROPEAN SHORT FILM COMPETITION
A journey into the heart of European fantastic film 🌍✨
Since 2024, the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest has been part of the European Fantastic Film Festival Federation (EFFFF), which brings together the most important festivals dedicated to fantastic cinema.
This milestone allows us to award the coveted Silver Méliès, the prize that opens the doors to the legendary Golden Méliès, presented annually at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Fest in Catalonia. 🎬
This year, nine short films are competing, four of which are Italian premieres, ready to transport us to mythological creatures, aliens, dystopian futures, and distant eras—a visionary mosaic of stories that represent the best of European fantastic film.
