
Day Four: A Resounding Success!
The morning opened with Essere Digital, the first event dedicated to fantastic visions. Many high school classes and students enthusiastically participated. We had the pleasure of hosting Marianna Panebarco and Monica Manganelli, who talked about their careers in the world of visual effects and film animation, showcasing some of their work: a truly fascinating and engaging moment.
🎥 This was followed by a screening of Rodrigo Sorogoyen's "As Bestas"—a beautiful, intense, and powerful film that left the audience breathless.
🌸 In the afternoon, the second event of the Japanese October program featured Ichikawa Kon's "The Burmese Harp," a poetic and touching classic.
📚 Immediately afterward, literary encounters with local authors took place: Gianluca Gualtacci, Monica Manganelli, and Fabio Mongardi presented their new books, engaging in a highly engaging conversation with the audience.

Meanwhile, "Lotus," a magical and visionary film from Lithuania, was screened. Director Signe Birkova was present and introduced her work with great passion.

🏆 Finally, the highly anticipated International Short Film Competition closed the day with a packed house. The audience enthusiastically voted for the Audience Award, while the film club members cast their votes for the Special Film Club Award.
