RITES OF SPRING
Synopsis Kidnappers abduct the daughter of a wealthy socialite and hide out in an abandoned school where feelings of guilt divide the group. Events spiral out of control when their hideout becomes a hunting ground for a mysterious creature with a bloodlust that comes every first day of Spring. Director biography The american writer and director Padraig Reynolds debuted into film-making in 2004 after moved to Los Angeles. He went to extension classes at UCLA and got hired by Sean Cunningham, the creator of Friday the 13th, to write a script called The Utah Murders. It didn’t go anywhere but he used one of the scenes to filmedThe Election, his first short film, Best Director Award at the San Francisco Film Festival. Rites of Spring is his first feature film.
