Huge participation at this year’s edition of Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, almost 3.000 submissions (2.965 for accuracy) from all over the world (representing 109 countries) of which 362 were feature films. Among the countries that have sent their works to the Festival we can obviously find USA, England, Spain, Italy, France, Canada; but it was also impressive the number of submission from unexpected countries such as Iran, Iraq, Turkey, and an endless list of countries that have only participated in just a few works. We guarantee an amazing selection and an high quality, the best of the world's most recent film productions.
Here we are the title: from England Fashionista, an elegant fetish noir directed by the winner of last edition, Simon Rumley; from United States two high-tension thrillers, Midnighters by Ramsay’s brothers, well-known authors and directors of The Walking Dead series, and the hitchcockian Beach House, by Jason Saltiel, with Willa Fitzgerald, heroin of the serial tv Scream and Misfortune; producer Dimitri de Clercq directs You Go To My Head, a sentimental noir set in the desert with Belgian actress Delfine Bafort; from France the winner of Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival, the post-apocalyptic Hostile, directed by Mathieu Turi and produced by Xavier Gens; from Canada an horror, The Child Remains by Michael Melski, with Suzanne Clément, Palme d'Or at Cannes 2012; and last but not least a dramatic and surreal Russian multi-prize, Pechorin by Roman Khrushch, from Mikhail Lermontov's classic literature.
