FESTIVAL PREMIERE

Premiere Festival is an initiative that promotes gender-based cinema. Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest anticipates the festival by offering the city a new initiative, the Premiere Festival, which features first-ever cinematic, author's, visions of the film in its original language. The initiative is made possible by collaborating with Publimedia and Cinema City, where some of the films featuring Nightmare features will be screened.

OPENING NIGHT

Opening Night is the inauguration evening, the opening event of the Festival. This year's occasion is the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's Oscar Gabriele Salvatores Award. An exclusive evening to offer the most loyal audience a special occasion to present our guests, announce special projects, thank our partners and celebrate the opening of the new edition.

INTERNATIONAL FEATURE COMPETITION

 

The participating films of  the International feature films Competition, will be screened for the first time in Italy and they are the finest examples of their respective genres, and they are on their journey to contribute to the stylistic and thematic renewal of cinema.

INTERNATIONAL SHORTFILM COMPETITION

A collaboration with Circolo Sogni.
The participating films of  the International Short Films Competition, will be screened for the first time in Italy and they are the finest examples of their respective genres. Design of the International Short Film Competition are done by classroom 3G of ITG MORIGIA. 

CONTEMPORANEA

Contemporary is the non-competitive section of the festival, reserved for the best titles that emerged in major gender festivals.

NIGHTMARE CLASSIC

The traditional section of the Festival, which tells the story, memory and celebrations.

NIGHTMARE SCHOOL

Visions and training sessions dedicated to cinema to promote young and young people's experience of going to the cinema.

ESTASIA

In collaboration with the A.S.C.I.G. – Association for Cultural Exchanges between Italy and Japan, treated by Marco Del Bene and Gabriele Scardovi, was born estAsia, the new section of the festival dedicated to Japanese and Asian cinema. Design of the estAsia  are done by classroom 3G of ITG MORIGIA. 

OFF SCREEN

Off Screen A series of events, meetings and collaborations to ensure that RNFF is able to penetrate more deeply into the socio-cultural fabric of our city. Design of the Off Screen  are done by classroom 3G of ITG MORIGIA.
