During Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest 2017, in a meeting open to all schools, we will talk about art and creativity and will be shown movie extracts from director David Lynch. The Art of Silence - Tribute to David Lynch is a a three-years project developed by Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest in collaboration with David Lynch Foundation, Liceo Scientifico A Oriani and Ravenna Festival. And now, we are very happy to learn that, on his trip to Italy, David Lynch has decided to stop in Ravenna. He will be a guest of Liceo Scientifico A. Oriani and he will meet a delegation of students of Ravenna’s schools who will be invited to meet him for the occasion. The Maestro, who has chosen this location for not appearing in the spotlight, will discuss with the students about creativity and art.
The three-year special development project “The art of silence - Tribute to David Lynch” began on the opening night of RNFF 2016. An unpublished documentary was screened, David Lynch Documentary, which tells how during the 2007-2009 the American director has embarked on a tour of 16 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America to talk about Creativity and Art. On this occasion the Italian referent Dr. Fatima Franco also presented the David Lynch Foundation and we began a project with Liceo Scientifico A. Oriani of Ravenna.
